I’m Sam Alders. I am the fifth of ten kids (four boys and six girls) in my family. We live in deep East Texas outside Nacogdoches, the oldest town in Texas. My parents own and operate a poultry, timber, and cattle operation which I’ve worked on with my siblings since I was old enough to work. Some of the activities I participated in at the small Christian classical school where I attended high school include: Drama, HS basketball, HS soccer, Key Club, and Choir. I love music, and I play the viola. I am entering A&M as a General Engineering major with a preference towards Petroleum Engineering.
